The Doo-Wop Dolls are three attractive, talented and fun singers: Jan Jinkerson, Mel Perry and Louise Wicks. They specialise in acappella three-part harmony performances of popular music to suit the client's requirements. The Doo-Wop Dolls are popular at conferences, dinners, parties, award ceremonies – in fact any occasion!
Their repertoire ranges from Cole Porter to Coldplay, Mozart to Motown and Rock'n' Roll to R'n' B. The Doo-Wop Dolls can offer a programme of music tailored to each event. Individually and collectively they have performed rock, pop, soul, jazz, classical and musical theatre at UK venues including The London Astoria, Ronnie Scott's, Minack Theatre, Theatre Royal Brighton, Concord II, Brighton centre, Brighton Dome, St Paul's cathedral, The Barbican and London's Grosvenor Hotel.
Session recording work includes harmonies and lead vocals on commercials for Sky Television and Disney, radio jingles, click tracks for musicals, as well as providing vocals for songwriters. Studios worked at include Air Studios, Metway and Tin Pan Alley.
