Description:
' As his father was a professional racing motor cyclist, winning the TT, Murray Walker was born into the world of motor racing. In addition, his father was a brilliant motor cycling commentator for BBC Radio and Murray followed in his footsteps on both counts. He spent more than fifty years commentating on motor racing and in particular F1, initially for the BBC before moving over to ITV in 1997. Murray Walker was awarded the OBE in 1996 and is a national institution much loved for his boundless enthusiasm and “Murrayisms”. He is a popular after dinner speaker and conference host, calling upon his many commentating experiences.'
