James is renowned as one third of the phenomenally successful BBC series ‘Top Gear’ and nicknamed ‘Captain Slow’ amongst his co-presenters and many fans.
He has also travelled the country to discover the origins of some toys, and create amazing things with them for his popular BBC2 series, ‘James May’s Toys’.
In 2014 he wrote and presented ‘James May’s Cars of the People’. Having stood down from Top Gear in 2015, new projects include a BBC2 series, `Building Cars Live’ co-hosted with Kate Humble and Ant Anstead.
