Andrew Pain

Motivational mental health speaker, Andrew Pain, is helping organisations with stress management, burnout, time management and overcoming adversity.  He is an inspirational speaker in much demand for a variety of corporate events.

Andrew Pain is a motivational mental health and CPD accredited speaker, a podcaster and award-winning campaigner, serving diverse organisations and leading in his work as a speaker on men’s wellbeing, burnout, community building and stress management.

Andrew is an energetic, down-to-earth, keynote speaker, championing psychological safety, a zero-suicide society and true allyship, where diverse groups of people understand each other and step up for each other.

Andrew is on a mission to:  

  • Enable leaders to deliver on their aspirations and responsibilities, but without burning out.
  • Create decisive and resilient communities of people.
  • Identify and break the stigmas which prevent men from being the best version of themselves.
  • Create psychologically safe working environments, where people are inspired to talk openly and without fear of being patronised, penalised, belittled or ignored.

Mental health speaker

Andrew is a member of the International Coaching Federation (MICF), a member of the Professional Speaking Association (MPSA) and member of the International Stress Management Association (MISMA).

He is also a TEDx speaker, delivering one of the only TEDx talks which unpacks the impact of female perpetrated domestic violence on a male, drawing on his lived experience from a former marriage. To date, the talk has over 125K views and features as an educational resource in many universities and colleges. Andrew is a campaigner for all victims of domestic abuse, highlighting the challenges faced by male victims in overcoming traditional stereotypes. He’s also an ambassador for EIDA (Employers’ initiative on domestic abuse)

Andrew is a Podcaster, whose new podcast, Men on Show, celebrates the stories of everyday male heroes, unpacking their journey whilst also exploring their views on: modern masculinity, toxic masculinity and is the phrase a wall builder or bridge builder? The issue of Andrew Tate, the campaign for a minister for men, to more generally, why are men and boys struggling and how do we help them?

As a speaker, Andrew serves diverse organisations, including; The Crown Prosecution Service, Amazon, Lidl, Specsavers, Public Health Wales, Birmingham City University, University of Liverpool, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Federation of Small Businesses, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Solihull Council, Gloucestershire County Council, schools and colleges, etc

Background

Andrew has over 20 years’ HR experience in the private and third sectors, covering; recruitment, organisational development, coaching, learning and development, and mixed into his HR experience over the years, includes the successful business run from his garden shed in the south of France, leading on a money mentoring programme in one of the most deprived postcodes in Birmingham, to living and working in Mexico and El Salvador, serving street children!

Outside of work, Andrew is a proud dad to 3 boys under 11, which means he’s a triage nurse, war reporter, peace negotiator, tutor, cook, cleaner, taxi driver, football coach, personal encyclopedia and unappreciated fashion consultant. It also means his daily Fitbit step count is never less than 15k.
