Cypriot-born Theo Paphitis moved to England with his family aged six. Starting his career at the age of 16 at the insurance brokers, Lloyds of London Theo quickly found himself developing his entrepreneurial interests.
At the age of 20 Theo moved into finance, property and corporate industries, specialising in turnarounds at set up his own company aged 23. In the following years Theo sucessfully turned around ailing companies such at Movie Media Sports, Ryman the Stationer, Contessa and La Senza lingerie chains. His expertise in the retail sector and experiance in creating sucessfull and profitable companies is demonstrated in these sucess stories.
Theo has also spent eight years as Chairman of Milwall FC, taking it out of administration, and appears on the hit BBC show Dragons’ Den.
