Tess Daly
Tess is best known as the co-host of the award winning BBC prime time show, Strictly Come Dancing. She is available to host corporate events for conferences and award ceremonies.
The glamorous and bubbly television presenter and host Tess Daley has been a main fixture since the hit BBC1 show Strictly Come Dancing first hit our screens in 2004. Initially presenting alongside veteran performer Bruce Forsyth, Tess went on to co-host the show with Claudia Winkleman. Together they steer the weekly live show, which pits celebrities against each other in the dancing arena. It proves to be a real ratings hit year after year.
Background
Tess was initially spotted by Models One. She went on to achieve great modeling success, having graced the cover of over twenty magazines before concentrating on presenting. She is now married to Vernon Kay and has two daughters.
Television
Tess has also presented All Time Greatest Love Songs, a one off special for BBC1, with Lionel Ritchie. As well as Five’s Back To Reality, which saw the UK’s most famous reality TV stars living in a Truman like house for three weeks. She was also an integral part of Sports Relief when she hosted the fundraising marathon for BBC1. Tess also teamed up with Eamonn Holmes to front the daily live The Christmas Show for ITV1 and While Home On Their Own, ITV1, saw her helping children up and down the country revamp their family homes, often with interesting consequences. Other TV includes co-hosting the BBC telethon Children In Need and The Royal Variety Performance and Pride of Britain Awards. She has also guest presented The One Show and co-hosted Being Mum for AOL together with Rochelle Humes.
Prior to this Tess was responsible for waking up the nation on its favourite Saturday morning show SM:tv, ITV1. One of Stockport’s most treasured exports, Tess has made quite a name for herself since giving up the world of modeling. Other credits include presenting The Dancestar Awards for MTV, Exclusive for Five and LA Pool Party for the BBC. While for ITV1 Tess presented the daytime heats for Britain’s Brainiest Kids and The Clothes Show, along with the live coverage of The National TV Awards for ITV2.
