Sara Cox

Hugely popular radio and TV presenter and record breaking charity fundraiser!

Presenter, Sara Cox, is one of the UK’s best-loved broadcasters.  She entertains millions of Radio 2 listeners with her weekday teatime show from 4–7pm. Her passion for radio began at BBC Radio 1, where she fronted the flagship Breakfast Show for four years, attracting an audience of eight million.

Media

Alongside her radio work, Sara hosts the hit BBC Two book club series Between the Covers and is a familiar face on BBC One’s Morning Live, where she regularly co-presents. Her television career spans a wide range of popular programmes, including Back In Time, The Great Pottery Throwdown, Love in the Countryside, and Britain’s Top Takeaways. She first appeared on our screens with The Girlie Show and has since presented shows across the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4. Sara is also a frequent co-presenter on Radio 4’s Loose Ends and has written columns for both The Mirror and The Guardian.

Writer

A successful author, Sara’s memoir Till the Cows Come Home (2018) became a Sunday Times bestseller, as did her debut novel Thrown (2022). Her second novel, Way Back, was published in March 2024.

Challenge

In November 2025, Sara completed her ambitious Great Northern Marathon Challenge, covering 135 miles across four counties and raising an extraordinary £10.2 million for BBC Children in Need. It became the longest-duration challenge in Radio 2 history. Sara completed five marathons in five days.  This was despite minimal running experience, knee arthritis, and just 10 weeks of training under the guidance of Olympian and sports scientist Professor Greg Whyte.

Live host

Sara is an excellent corporate host.  She is in much demand for prestigious conferences and award ceremonies.
