Normally wheelchair-bound, McGrath made history in 2004 by becoming the only person in the world to have made it on foot to both Poles. In uplifting both human and corporate consciousness, his message varies according to business need. At 15 yrs, he dreamt of becoming the General Manager of the Savoy Hotel in London. Ironically in 1984, he rejected a place on the esteemed Savoy Trainee Management Scheme – later that same year, he was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. In 2004, he was appointed disABILITY Champion for Hilton Hotels and in May 2005, he received the Business Traveller of the Year Award in Dubai.
