Former England Cricket Captain, Andrew Strauss, stood down in 2012 having been one of three England Captains to triumphantly lead England to Ashes victories home and away. He was also the overall top run scorer in the team. As well as captaining the One Day team, he has made over 100 ODI appearances for England. He is recognised as one of the top 10 England players of all time. In 2009 he was nominated for ‘BBC Sports Personality of the Year’ and was granted the ‘Freedom of the City of London’. Andrew is also an ambassador for the Jaguar Sports Academy, which aims to support young sporting stars through their Academy set up. Andrew has published two books, `Testing Times, In Pursuit of the Ashes’ and `Winning the Ashes Down Under.’ He is a natural communicator and effective motivational speaker particularly on the themes of leadership and teamwork for corporate events. His key role in ongoing international series gives him a global prospective.
