Actor, writer and comedian, Tom Allen’s unique style of sharp wit, storytelling and delivery have seen him become a household name.  He was named the co-host of Bake Off The Professionals and a regular on Bake Off: An Extra Slice.  Other notable TV appearances include Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, The Apprentice You’re Fired, Hypothetical, Insert Name Here.  Also The Royal Variety Performance, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Cats Does Countdown, Would I Lie to You and Roast Battle.  He was invited to present the Virgin Media BAFTA TV Pre-Show.  From 2020 Tom hosted a new UK comedy travel show on Channel 4, Tom Allen Goes To Town.  In 2021 Tom began fronting the C4 gameshow, Quizness. His comedy travel show for C4, Tom Goes to Town, launched in 2020. He has also appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Just a Minute and is a regular co-host on Loose Ends.

His tours continue to sell out both in the UK and internationally.  His Sydney and Melbourne tour saw him nominated for most outstanding show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Awards.

Acting

As an actor he has starred in BBC Radio 4’s Sony Award winning Bleak Expectations, Comedy Central’s Threesome.  Also BBC’s Sensitive Skin with Joanna Lumley and Fear of Fanny with Mark Gatiss and Julia Davis. Film includes Colour Me Kubrick with John Malkovich, Starter for Ten with James McAvoy and the Stephen Frears film, Tamara Drewe.
