Dame Esther Rantzen DBE
Award winning presenter and broadcaster, renowned consumer champion, founder of Childline and Silver Line. Esther is a wonderful addition to exclusive events both as an entertaining after dinner speaker and event host.
Esther Rantzen is one of the best known personalities on British television. Renowned for her long running consumer championing series, That’s Life, Esther subsequent TV appearances are many and varied including: Who Do You Think You Are, Old Dogs New Tricks, Grumpy Old Women, Strictly Come Dancing, The One show, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here and Question Time.
She regularly contributes to numerous publications including Daily Telegraph, Sunday Times and Daily Mail. She is the founder of ChildLine and Silver Line charities and has been awarded OBE, CBE and finally a Damehood in 2015. Esther also became the Vice-President of Revitalise, a charity providing those with disabilities, and their carers, with short breaks and holidays. She has won the BBC TV Personality of the Year, the RTS special judges’ prize, as well as the Richard Dimbleby BAFTA Award.
