Alastair Stewart is main presenter of London News Network’s flagship news and features programme LONDON TONIGHT. In February 2005 Alastair was awarded Presenter of the Year at the prestigious Royal Television Society Television Journalism Awards.

He also co-presented LWT’s MISSING Programme for the ITV Network. Alastair presents GMTV’s SUNDAY PROGRAMME, a news and current affairs magazine programme, interviewing the week’s top news-makers. He also presents POLICE CAMERA ACTION for the ITV Network which achieved Carlton’s highest rating for a factual programme.

Before joining LNN, he was a presenter of ITN’s NEWS AT TEN, a role he resumed in 1991 following a year in the United States as ITN’s Washington correspondent.
