25 Feb Alexander Armstrong & Richard Osman’s TV quiz Pointless to hit 1000th episode
Corporate comedian, quiz show host, actor, singer & presenter, Alexander Armstrong, is delighted that Pointless has been recommissioned with a ginormous 165 daytime and 45 primetime celebrity shows having been ordered by the BBC – which will take the total number of episodes to over 1000.
The hugely popular quiz started in 2009 and has also enjoyed success internationally – the programme has been adapted for broadcasters in Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and across Central and Eastern Europe.
Alexander released his debut album last year, A Year of Songs. His other projects include exploring Rome’s hidden tunnels with the recording of his BBC show, Rome’s Invisible City.
He continues to be a highly popular choice for corporate events and is much in demand for awards hosting and after dinner speaking.
