Comedian and TV presenter, Rhod Gilbert, has just won Welsh Bafta award for RAF fighter pilot show as part of his acclaimed Work Experience programme which aired on both BBC One Wales and BBC Two.
The multiple award winning comedian has been described by Time Out as “without doubt one of the best comedians anywhere in the world right now”
Other television credits include hosting Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Royal Variety, Eight Out of Ten Cats, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie to You, Ask Rhod Gilbert and Live at the Apollo.
He produced Rhod Gilbert vs Kilimanjaro which featured him on his hardest challenge to date, leading a team up Africa’s highest mountain for charity. He was not accompanied by a camera crew and did not intend to broadcast the footage but BBC Wales decided to do a special feature from the footage he and the group took on their incredible adventure – with excellent results..
Rhod continues to be a brilliantly funny live comedian and host.
