Dame Tanni Grey Thompson DBE

Former Paralympic champion, TV presenter, House of Lords Crossbench Peer, Dame Tanni Grey Thompson, is also an outstanding motivational Speaker.

Dame Tanni Grey Thompson is one of Britain’s greatest Paralympians.  She is a renowned Paralympic athlete, having performed at world-class level, in distances ranging from 100m to the marathon. Tanni’s career has taken her around the world to every major international event. Her 15 Paralympic medals including an unbelievable 11 golds, six gold medals in the London Marathon and her comprehensive set of British and World Records make her achievements second to none in the disability sport arena. Tanni is extremely erudite and articulate and is an exceptional conference and motivational speaker. She is at ease talking to schoolchildren or professionals at the most senior level and one of her greatest achievements must be in making people more aware of disability and what can be accomplished with will-power, determination and the support of a loving family.

Tanni is currently a cross bench peer in the House of Lords and speaks with authority on a number of topics including disability rights, welfare reform, and of course sport.

Tanni was named in the 2015 Debrett’s list of top 500 British people of influence and is an excellent motivational speaker . She has also been inducted into Power Brands LIFE – Hall of Fame at London International Forum for Equality.  In 2019 she won the BBC Sports Lifetime Achievement Award.
