Declan Curry

Popular award-winning former BBC business journalist and broadcaster. Declan Curry is currently the business commentator on LBC.  He is an extremely accomplished event presenter and moderator and much in demand for both online and live events.

Business speaker and presenter, Declan Curry, is an award winning broadcaster and popular corporate speaker and presenter.

He was a business presenter with BBC News 24 at the channel’s launch. He has also broadcast for the BBC’s international news channel, BBC World, and for ABC News in the United States. Declan is currently the business commentator on LBC daily.

Declan has written columns for Breakfast’s website and the shareholders magazine Investors Chronicle. He has also written an occasional diary of British life for ABCNews.com, plus newspapers, magazines and websites in the UK, the Irish Republic and the United States.

Declan has won several awards for his broadcasting including IFA Journalist of the Year, ABI Financial Journalist of the Year and Proshare Financial Personality of the Year.

Presenter

Declan chairs conferences and seminars, moderates panel discussions and conducts interviews at corporate events. He is a regular moderator for the Global Economic Symposium and has chaired various sessions at the World Economic Forum in Davos.  Other regular events he has been invited to host include Retail Week, The European TDG Summit.  Conferences and trade associations include EEF, ACS, ABFA and RETRA
