Broadcaster, author and speaker Libby Purves is an extremely popular after-dinner speaker and conference host. Royal Society lecturer and the Royal Geographical Society’s regular onstage interviewer. Libby was the first female presenter of Radio 4’s Today Programme and went on to present BBC Radio 4’s The Learning Curve and Midweek for many years. She is the founder of TheatreCat.com, an online theatre review website, and regular contributor to The Radio Times and The Times Newspaper.
