Dr Liz Jackson MBE
Marketing expert and entrepreneur Liz Jackson founded Great Guns at only 25 and went blind the same year. She is a truly inspirational motivational speaker who addresses a number of themes including, overcoming adversity, innovation, leadership, teamwork, diversity and communication.
Motivational speaker Liz Jackson MBE is an inspirational figure. She has an extraordinary story, as many would have discovered when she was featured in Channel 4’s ‘Secret Millionaire.’ Honored by Her Majesty the Queen, Liz was awarded an MBE in the 2007 for services to business. In 2012 she was bestowed with an honorary doctorate by Staffordshire University for her business achievements and inspiring others. She is also an accomplished author having published StartUp! This provides invaluable help and advice to entrepreneurs everywhere.
Background
Initially Liz ran her own award-winning company, Great Guns Marketing, for 17 years. Incredibly she launched this business the year she lost her eyesight. She is now the Sales & Marketing Director for leading business sale advisor BCMS. Here she interacts with business owners as they plan to scale up their companies and consider succession.
Liz also hosts and facilitates The Fellows Group. This is a vibrant network of over 200 entrepreneurs who have successfully transacted through BCMS. As a result the network aims to connect individuals who have all been through the unique process of selling a business.
