We are delighted to be representing creativity speaker, Natasha Hussein. Natasha is the founder of Super Imaginary – an art, design and creative consultancy. The company is on a mission to restore aliveness, colour and vibrancy to everyday life. She is also an inspirational speaker.
Natasha has a particular passion for using science in design. Her company aims to reimagine the future and deliver concepts that are full of life, sensuality and surprise. This fascination began during her Chemistry degree when she specialised in Biomimicry.
Natasha creates and provides advisory for businesses looking to lead their industry into the future. In addition, she has been featured in a number of leading publications. In 2018, she was one of five creatives commissioned by Frame Magazine. The role was to take on their monthly ‘Challenge’ of ‘Designing for the Displaced’. This involved interpreting what ‘home’ means and applying this to the creation of a luxury hotel concept. The aim was to help people feel more at home in themselves. A school concept design was also featured in MISC Magazine by Idea Couture. The design sought to redefine the experience of school with pleasure in education.
Natasha is particularly passionate about sharing her methodologies at this time. This is due to the changes that the Covid -19 pandemic has created. She believes this is the best time to re-evaluate the types of experiences we want in our lives individually and collectively to emerge stronger. Natasha says it is time for creative minds to dream big, dream better. She seeks to translate those visions into concrete steps that create an inspiring future.
She has spoken and shared her vision at events including the Helsinki Design Week and the 2020 Interior Design Show (IDS) Vancouver.
