14 Mar New Honour for Blackadder / QI Producer
Congratulations to entertaining after dinner speaker, John Lloyd, who has just been awarded the prestigious Broadcasting Press Guild’s, `outstanding contribution to broadcasting’ – The Harvey Lee Award.
John has worked on shows including R4’s The News Quiz, Blackadder, Spitting Image and QI. He has been honoured for his long track record of developing hit shows.
The judging panel of the BPG awards are the journalists who cover TV and Radio. The BPG executive committee said they recognised the comedy writer, producer and presenter as having, “created many of Britain’s most innovative and enduring comedy series on radio and television”
John is an accomplished anecdotal after dinner speaker with a wealth of entertaining stories from his background in the media. Feedback on his presentations includes:
