Despite smaller socially distanced live events once again becoming a reality, currently virtual conferences, meetings and webinars are still predominantly the way we are keeping our teams and association members connected. Online events are hugely popular and having a professional motivational speaker or host is the best possible way to keep your participants engaged. We are pleased to be able to help with a vast range of motivational speakers relevant to the challenges we are facing. Key topics include perseverance, overcoming adversity, working remotely, communications skills, leadership and team building. Embracing all these themes and more, we can highly recommend former RAF fast jet pilot, Mandy Hickson. She was the only female pilot on her Front Line Tornado Squadron, flying multi-million pound fast jets for the Royal Air Force. Mandy has worked in the most hostile environments, including patrolling the ‘No Fly’ zone over Iraq. Whilst carrying the latest weaponry, she and her unit were ready to drop ordnance on any target in support of operations. Mandy continues to set herself high targets and at the end of last year she joined a female fundraising team and reached the summit of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, raising funds for the Hampshire Hospitals Charity – Winchester Hospice.
