Roger Flynn was Chief Executive of BBC Ventures Group, the media services commercial arm and a BBC main board director. Prior to that he was Managing Director of Prudential Retail, responsible for the UK retail business including the Prudential brand, with a sales turnover of £2bn, 6m customers and 6,000 staff. Before joining Prudential, Roger was General Manager World Sales & Distribution at British Airways. His first senior management position was with Virgin Communications (Virgin International Media Group), working directly for Sir Richard Branson.

Roger is currently Chief Executive of SpringBoard Group Ltd which is a private investment vehicle through which he has invested in a number of businesses including a Bioenergy Media business and a Financial Services software business as well as working with Private Equity on a number of deals including a Retail public to private transaction with an enterprise value of £1bn, and the management buyout of a global media services company.
