Sarah Begum is an investigative anthropologist, journalist and explorer. Her path began at the age of 21 when she travelled to the Amazon rainforest to immerse herself into the Huaorani tribe, which was recorded in her film, Amazon Souls. The film was internationally praised for highlighting awareness of deforestation and oil exploitation. It was endorsed by Bear Grylls and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Sarah has continued with her film work focusing on bringing to light important global stories. She is currently the President of Global Media and an Ambassador and senior correspondent for Cures4Humanity.
